Welcome to a corner of the internet built for those who live at the crossroads of engineering and management — where blueprints meet boardrooms, and where running a project is as much about people as it is about plans.
Why this space exists
I started this blog because I kept noticing a gap. Engineers often learn management on the job, the hard way. Managers sometimes lose touch with the technical realities that shape their decisions. The best work, in my experience, happens when both worlds talk to each other — and that conversation doesn’t happen often enough.
What you’ll find here
Expect practical reflections on project management, facility management, and PMO leadership — drawn from real projects, not textbooks. I’ll share frameworks I rely on, mistakes I’ve made, lessons from my MBA journey at Liverpool John Moores University, and the occasional contrarian view on how things “should” be done in our field.
Who this is for
If you’re an engineer stepping into leadership, a project manager looking for sharper tools, or a facility professional aiming for strategic impact — pull up a chair. Let’s think out loud, together.
